City Guide Redlands
Downtown Redlands Restaurants & Bars
This is Orange Street in Downtown Redlands where the majority of shops and restaurants are. Included on Orange Street is Trader Joe's, Vons, Anytime Fitness, Togo's, Rubio's, Chipotle, MU Thai Restaurant & Martini Lounge, The Pink Flamingo AKA The Dirty Bird, Romano's Italian, Starbucks, Coffee Bean and The Royal Falconer.
Every Thursday Night from 6pm to 10pm the city of Redlands blocks off State Street and has a market night. For organic produce, food stalls, trinkets, massages, good music and a good time with the family, please stop by and enjoy the night to support the local businesses. There are also performances by the students of the local Tae Kwon Do studio, where you can catch 7 year olds to adults performing and breaking wood boards with ariel filps and kicks. There is also a Local Indian tribe that performs their tribal dances. For younger kids there are ponies that they can ride, mini car rides, and ballon slides.
Experience the Redlands Bowl Summer Festival, the oldest continuously running music festival in Southern California, and the United States, where no admission is charged.
World-class performing arts feature something to delight everyone, from: Symphony Concerts to Children’s Choirs to Blue Grass; Highland Pipe Bands to Military Bands to Big Bands; Ballets to Folk Dancing to River Dance; Soloists to Popular Musicals to Classical Operas; and Taiko too.
Serving the Inland Empire, the Redlands Bowl will win your heart with its family friendly setting, under the stars, in outdoor amphitheater seating or lawn seating, nestled in historic downtown Redlands.
Bring a picnic dinner and join friends on Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout the summer. No admission is ever charged!
All are welcome.
One of the best hidden gems in Redlands is the The Yoga Room. I have been blessed with practicing yoga all around the world and The Yoga Room is my personal favorite place to practice. If you have a chance you should definately try it.
