One of Pasadena's national historic landmarks The Rose Bowl Stadium which was built in 1922. The New Year's Tournament of Roses Football Game is held here. Home to the UCLA Bruins, 5 NFL Super Bowls, the 1984 Olympic Soccer Matches, the 1994 Men's World Cup, the 1999 Women's World Cup, the 2002, 2006 and 2010 BCS National College Football Championship Games and numerous other memorable events over the past eighty plus years.
The annual Tournament of Roses Parade happens on January 1st every year in Pasadena. People come from all parts of the country just to see the extravagent floral floats, high spirited marching bands and equestrian units. Followint the parade, the Rose Bowl Game will kick off between 2 of the top collegiate football teams in the nation.
Downtown Pasadena otherwise know as Old Town Pasadena offers some fabulous shopping such as Armani Exchange, The Body Shop, Crate & Barrel, MAC Cosmetics, Pottery Barn, Steve Madden for cute shoes,Tiffany & Co. and many other uniques shops. There are also some great restaurants, antique shops, hair salons and even a bakery for your dogs! Paseo Colorado is an outdoor shopping village with unique shops and restaurants.
